This was our 1st Christmas in Gauteng, away from the family and friends.
We decided to have our Christmas lunch at the new Moyo restaurant in Pretoria, Fountains Valley in the Groenkloof Nature Reserve. Upon arrival we were escorted with umbrella’s to the restaurant to guard us from the hot Pretoria sun. We were then handed father Christmas hats, and a lovely fruity cocktail…
There were a lovely atmosphere, a stunning African live band and a male singing choir… They entertained us with some Christmas carols and a few love songs. The food was just amazing, perfectly prepared and boy did we enjoy it. In addition, there was the traditional, hand wash, face painting, drummer boys and story teller adding to the excitement of the day.
Before we knew, 4hours has passed and we still weren’t ready to leave…
